Well planned a little session tonight at the start of the week with Mick (Casper71) it was to be Cullercoats as I have never fished it before and thought it was about time to broarden horizons lol.
Mick has fished it alot so was looking good to at least get something out and did that, first chuck at 6.50pm in water 10 mins tap tap picked up and again pull then straight in with a lovely 5lb 4oz cod got a couple of rockling after that then just before low water at 8.45 ish Mick hooked a 3lb 4oz codling.
There was a few small ones kicking about but nowt more till me last chuck at 9.50pm big frozen crab bait nod nod struck and heavy tried best to keep it moving but locked up despite pully rig being used messed on for 15 mins but no joy and snap but still had a great night and thanks to mick for sharing one of his marks.
Bait took fish on was razor, mussel and lug cocktails.

    My fish.

    Micks fish.

hi there if i was out tonight creswell beach would be the place for me go left from the boat compound till u come to some concrete blocks about 3 or 4 of them i think go past them around 40yds and head for the water big hole runs quite the way down the beach at low water at the minuite never failed there yet this year would have fished last nite but i opted for the block house also had a few fish there last nite good luck.

Glad you enjoyed the mark Ivan it's one of my favourite places on the north east coastline to fish and as usual the crack was top notch + a couple of fish to go with, great night
            Cheers Mick.

Well done lads, it was heavygoing lastnight for me started at lyneburn 7.30, weed / weed & more weed, had 3 chucks weeded up after each, unfishable, so headed of to blyth pier, 1 cocling for 1.5lb - returned to fight another day, packed up about 12ish, when the sleet & rain started.

Well done on the fish, I saw your lights on the skeer as I was driving back from Tynemouth. That headlight must confuse shipping, it doesn't half light up the sea.

Ah! that was your rod tip light (blue) I could sea from where I was fishing Ivan. Nice couple of fish you's got there. I was fishing close bye, but only had an undersize coalie and a small codling on Tynemouth beach, but at least a bite every cast. My light battery's were flat so the rocks were a no no

                              spot on Ivan.

wish I had the time this week, changing compressors till stupid o o'clock eventually going out tommoro night, and booked in for the seaham open on sunday.

the forecast for sundays swells are getting bigger and bigger. if they are the same predicted tommoro, i wreckon it will be massive.

DOUBLE FIGURE CODDY COME TO DADDY:
                              comps might be off??
