  • north shields fishquay

    had a canny night fishing the fish quay last night, i managed two undersize coalies and two sized codling, one of which was about 1 1/2 lb the other i would guess at maybe between 2 and 2.5lb . Their was a few people fishing and was a few sized codling caught. bait used: lug, squid and peeler.

        you can only get on a small bit of the quay to the right of the ice factory, but the rest of the quay should hopefully be open soon

            where abouts do you fish on the quay everytime i have fished there its a snag a cast.never been for years is it a graveyard still or ok to fish

              i usually fish next to cosalt and it is very snaggy unless you have got a decent chuck to get over the main snags close in however sometimes you just have to persist and hope you get a fish and not a snag also rotten bottoms help minimalise tackle and fish loss.
