  • Early morning blast

Crawled out of bed about 3am, set off from Darlington about 4 heading for seaham. Got onto blast south end by about 5, after a bit of searching around for a decent parking spot, went for the industrial estate behind some offices in the end, i got a bit paranoid about being clamped but I couldn't see any signs. First time I've fished blast and on the second cast had a decent biteresulted in a little codling about 1lb 1/2, I thought to myself, well this is alright might be in for a good morning, i rebaited like my life depended on it with runny and mussel but that was it, not another bite did I see. Cracking place to be early in a morning, didn't see another soul, few more fish would have been nice but there wasn't much sea on and by 7.30 my bait was done. Popped round my mates house on the way home for a cuppa and managed to wake up his missus, she wasn't happ,y so i made a sharp exit. Back on Monday or Tuesday see what happens.
