decided to fish just next to the glass centre, i got there for 11.00am, it was overcast and i was hoping that the forecast would be right and there would nt be any rain till around 16.00 used rag as bait for the first hour all i caught was crabs then started catching undersized whiting pretty much every cast, then half an hour before hightide i got a really good positive bite so i started reeling in only to find my line had went over another lads who was fishing there, luckily managed to keep the fish on which turned out to be a flounder about 30-35 cm and about a 1lb, fished two hours more only getting whiting, the quality and size of the fish i was catching was nt great i was kept busy and had a good session

I used a variety of rigs pennels, 3 hook flapper rigs, pulleys and 2 hook flattey rig this not effect on what i was catching, though I did nt lose any gear which is a first for me, as i finished there seemed to be getting more cr*p being washed down river.

I set off home about 14.30 when the heavens opened, i am not at work till friday night and am tempted to get out again tomorrow if the wife will let me.
