i got up at 9o clock this morning and headed over 2 the beacons spinning for mackerel but the water was a little choppy and there was a lot of white water so i had a few flicks on the north rock 4 about half an hour or so then headed to the south end of the beacons near the island as you just pass the high rock and started spining in the white water then a felt a stop and i thought it was a fast hold but then my rod doubled and started goin mental so as aye was pulling it in it jumped out the water about 5 or 6 times but all i could see was a big silver bar and after about 10 -15 minits at getting it in aye got it 2 the edge of the rock the line rubbed off the rock and snapped. i was that devistated i didnt even bother putting another spinner on so i went home
