    the walkway just a couple of hours nothing but small stuff very different to last night loads of sport

      was that you fishing in the middle of walkway l had the blue top left at 8.30 my mate left at 8 l was gonna stop in but the missus was doing her hair as only live at the top of the steps behind the walkway thought l would nip down for a couple of hours night befor was great had 3 fish to lb1/2 some good sport

        Aye that was me, sport last night was canny as well, quality not so good but plenty of coalies, a few codling and last chuck a reasonable one of 1 1/2 lb to bring home for tea.

        To be honest if I lived just a few yards from there I think I'd be fishing it alot as well. Whether the missus was doing her hair or not

              the tyne has to be one of the best shots that l know of for sport no matter of what the tide is and time of the year its nice to see the odd good few fish taken saying that when l was a kid l used to fish there when the tanks where there and it was thee mark for fish a bit of line hook and a bit of silver paper out of a tab box great sport for a six year old if you were lucky some bloke would give you a bit rag then you would catch some thing like a 3lb cod then off home for dad to cook it

                them where the days jimmy old geordies jetty the vidor quay had some good sessions down thier with my dad winter or summer good run of spring run codling when the crabs where moulting plenty of good coalies where the t piece sewer pipe is when crap was still coming out of it [memories]
