  • St Abbs on sunday 25/7/2010

Me, Mitchel and Scotty (cocomonkey19k) set off for St Abbs at around 7.30 am. We didnt have any live bait with us, but we took a load of squid, prawns, jellyworms and spinners.
It was a quiet start with mitchel loosing on just off the edge. I send out my float with a whole cooked prawn (from morrisons) hoping for a biggy  after waiting for about 15mins the float darted under and i caught this fella weighing 3lb 15oz so im calling that 4lb

I also caught another pollock on the float using a sliver of squid weighing 3lb 9oz
This is a picture of the two fish together...

Scotty also hooked into a 2 1/2lb pollock (sorry no pic) and mitchel hooked into a few good fish but couldnt seem to land them

All in all a great day and a good laugh as always.

    cheers

    carver
