    Fished the north drum last night over low water 7 till 12 went down armed with a bucket of fresh crab i managed 2 undersize codling and a coley, but some lads fishing number 5 had 4 size codling and one size on the drum all the better fish where falling to worm baits, typical
    You should have been here yesterday.

    That's just sods law if you had a bucket full of worms they would of only been taking crab.But still a good session anyhow welldone

        Its always worth taking a few packs of worm with ya. at least ya managed a few out even if they were under size well done.

            hi andy it was the same on the boat i used king rag and my mate used crab and i out fished his crab baits he blanked,i keeped two cod 3.5lbs and 4lbs and when i fish the pier i take both or even lugworm as well.can you remeber me tell you in the tackle shop i was going north wales well i only caught 2 doggies and then come back to fish roker and caught codling every chuck and most of them were keepers! but thats fishing just wait untill winter
