My first ever Bass !

Decided to go out tonight for a few hours bait fishing, as I have been doing a bit lure & spinning lately to no avail , First cast tonight & same old story ! the big one got away, but I kept at it and the result of a few hours tonight 2 nice sized bass, I will be back out tomorrow, better prepared than I was tonight.

Im still buzzing now mate, having a few vod's to calm me down, it was perfect tonight, 1 was great 2 just topped the night off, filleted for my tea the morn !

Well done mate, lovely eating fish. FWIW to save the chew of filletting Bass (especially 3lb or less) are great fish to be cooked whole in the oven, wrapped in foil with a few herbs in the gut cavity and a bit of white wine...

nice fish m8 sea probable spot on today for them iv a gud idea were u have taken them just from the sand in ur pic cud be wrong tho iv had a few also keep up the reports m8.

well done on the Bass. Never caught one on a spinner. Was all set to have a go off the beach down Hartlepool last Tuesday but rained off. (torrential).

yeah lovely fish iv never caught a bass, been thinking about trying for 1 around shields area but dont think i would get 1 lol might give it ago soon wish i knew were u got this from :P
