  • Roker Pier & then Hartlepool!

Got to Roker 9am & was only a few people on, fished till 11.30am with only 2 coalie billets that were put back, few lads had been down since 1st light & only had 1 mackerel between them, water was muddy brown.

We gave in and headed for Hartlepool Pier, never fished it before but after stopping for fish & chips got onto the pier & tried spinning for mackerel with no luck so we set the bait rods up & fished with rag & mackerel strip for a few hours with no luck at all.

There was a fella fishing with lugworm on the top of pier casting out to sea & he pulled in a bass about 2-2 1/2lb.

Took a pic & told the fella it was going on the site so probs a new member on the way.
