  • bass attempt #2(shore) 4/7/10

well last night shortly fafter 6pm even tho the wind was howling i decided to head down to the beech with a couple of poppers and shallow divers made the decent walk from the house to the beech and started over the top of some rocks with the popper nothing to show for so i tried a few more rock edges with the popper but no result i headed to the edge of the rocks and decided to wade waist deep wen i had realised my neoprenes where leaking but this had not put me off for the next 2hrs i was back and forth along the beech on and off rocks swapping from popper to diver and nothing to show for it but it was nice just to be out trying ive found myself a few new low and high water marks to try its amazing what kind of marks you find to try when walkin alond with a rod and plug pics to come later

Good work lad, good to keep trying different areas and using different lures. I been plugging since late last summer and still had nowt! Its fun not having loads of heavy gear like rod rests and tackle boxes to carry round though. Keep at it!

Gotta give it a go mate. Am not having a lot of luck on the plugs which is frustrating as I took about 30 bass last year on bait between June and September. Just a case of perseverance I reckon but they are definitely there!

You have to put the hours in when bassing with lures and expect a lot of blanks along the way!!! When the fish are on though those blanks are quickly forgotten :-)
