St Marys 04/07/10

Whey another boat trip cancelled the day so had a load of rag so headed up St Marys where i thought there would be a bit of shelter from the wind(how wrong was i!!)anyway set up at about 1.45pm from the first hoy onwards there was plenty bites but nowt fantastic,managed a small coalie about 4-5 inches long.Rod came off the stand twice and the 2nd time smashed 2 inner rings so that will be out of action for a while!!!
The best part of the session was a salmon or trout jumping out the water about 10 yards from the rock.At first i thought it was a gul diving but the fish jumped about 4-5 times!
