    Went on the pier tonite(Blyth), about 7.30ish, reports where not very good, but!!!!, 1st mackie of the season witnessed by me!, was caught by the one an only "el_cid", using a sprat spinner donate by myself!!!, anyway enough of that, my total for aprox 2hrs= 3xcoalie, 1xpollack, 1xcodling and 2xlaunce, all taken on spinner wiv a couple of daylights above all except the launce returned safely

      Oops sorry!, political correctness bud!, aye not a bad result, the pollack just like the coalies bout 8", but a 1st for me on the pier, no more mackie when I left@ 9.30ish, am ganna give it ago 2morra@ day break, will put a report up 2morra neet, got the pollack bout 9ish, an cast just ootside the river mouth

          might head onto pier on sat b4 the once a year crew turn up in numbers

            yeah theres a few there, hundreds of sandeels so the might be why. perfect conditions i got one and a few around me caught some, 2 of which were beasts.

              Been fishing blyth pier every morning this week and not seen a macky yet, loads of coalies, sprat, shad, sand eels and the dreaded lesser weevers shouldn't be long with this weather though.

                The mackie are here, quite a few caught last nite, not big in numbers, but 2 guys had a bagfull after about 3hrs, I didn't get 1, but had loads of small coalies and a 2 launce, better than nowt

                  Just been looking at the weather for the next few days, looks like they'll be gone for a while..........

                      Had reports of a neighbour that they've been getting quite a few last few days and all quit a decent size.... Of course, typically, I've knackered my lower back - was sweating like a pig from the pain just walking the 2mins to the Doctors

                        Sorry to hear about ya back pain, hope you recover quick m8, I was on the pier again last night, 7-9ish, only witnessed 3 macky, 1 was a cracker!, but still none to me still loads of small coalies and launce being landed, any way the weather aint good for the macky at the mo! maybe another week or so
