Late report from up there the week before last. Fishing was poor on the deep water rock marks around Borgue unless you like catching dogs. It was absolutely infested with the bait robbers. I only fish short sessions when I am up there with the wife so couldn't really travel further afield, but on all the normal marks (Borness, Southpark, Foxes) it was pretty much a doggie a chuck apart from a couple of Huss, best about 4lb. Also tried Senwick for a chance of a Ray on the flood but again only odd dogfish and lots of crabs stripping baits. Poor show but I will be back up in the next week or two further up the A75 trying for hounds and maybe even a bonus tope. I did notice there didn't seem to be many crabs peeling in the rock pools at Brighouse and certainly no birds diving in the sea so maybe things are a bit late this year.
