Shields Pier
Fished the pier on saturday and sunday.
Saturday a got down for 4pm and meet up with d-a and waco, aswell as three other friends (paul,paul and ian). had a cracking days fishing. Nothing large cort apart from a few decent plaice and flounders but plenty sport from undersize fish. u couldn't get a bait to the bottom coz of the amount of small codlings/coalies.
Sunday got down about the same time and the fishing was the same, i unfortunetly cort a Fulmar (type of seagull) which i swiftly untagled and flew away, lukily it didnt spew up on me which these birds do
Well a crackin weekends fishing concidering a didnt fish for long, hopefully the sport improves and more plaice will move in as the summer comes along!!
