fished the mark last night, 7 till 1.30am. there was 7 of us, good big tide on a dyeing sea, couple of the lads further down the pier were managing a couple of small codling up to a pound.
me and a other few lads were on the drum, not much happening apart from one fish i landed which was 3lb.
I was the first to head home so not sure if they got out on the flood.
pretty poor considering the conditions, but always hit and miss this time of year
hope the comp produces a few fish, but for me, that session last night reflected that there is not much about now, even on a dyeing sea.
might go up my favourite mark, cullernose pt tommoro night for one last hoy of the dice or might just head for the pub
