Dean-its been hard going but i,m like you the towels not going in until mid March. Its the season for lunkers an i,m still looking to get my first doubler-thats not going to happen sitting in the house.

but as said before its hard work getting down with all them leads in ya box or backpack take care on these big seas also not advisable to advertise on piers with no railings
nice fish! nice to see them still coming in, some one mentioned hawthorn point in the thread just to let yas know, theres bin quite abit of erosion to the flat rock, the majority being washed away, you can still get a cast but theres also been a canny mud slide and the path down is more or less gone, can still gain access but ide stay away in wet weather looks pretty dodgy and extremely muddy as i found out. the south point seems ok but ide take a look at the base of the point at low water to see if the overhang has got any worse before i clambered back on, hope info handy dint like hearing bout nee more fishing accidents if it can be helped
