    well had a bash of steetley last nite 9 til 12 was dead quiet then bang the rod gans pulled it in and resuled a canny whitey not a bad whitey 2 christin a new rod lol hopfull the sea will carm down so a can get of the heugh the moro morin

        its not a coalie na wat a withey looks like caught meny of them in my time a coalie has got a greeny coulour 2 it (pics was tock on me phone so thats what it could be)

          bloody hell no need to snap lyk! we were both only saying as im a marine conservation advisor just thought you would prefer to know. ( pectoral fin is to short for a whiting)

                think the marine conservation advisor should reapply for his job, definatly a whiting, coalies are darker hence the name coalfish, not to mention they hav a sraight lateral line

                            i totally agree with penn525magextra. you can clearly see that it is a whiting, coalies are alot darker in there colouration. plus look at the mouth, a coalies is slightly upturned like a pollock, the fish in that picture does not show that
