    Fished from 10am to 2pm,round end,small wall,
    couple chucks at rubble,not a sniff!Used me cmc
    for the first time,nice rod,pity nowt to bend it.

          rod rest

          Interested in the pier railing rod rest (last picture), can you let me know where you got it from, if its an all rounder, and if its not cheeky who much it cost. Cheers, heres hoping for a bag full this weekend

            made it out of a clamp,bit like a mould clamp,or type market stall holders use to fasten tarpaulin down,and the rod holder is a rowlock(used for holding oars),happy D.I.Y m8.

              Aye,there was a nice roll on earlier on,seemed to die off towards top tide,pier watchman closed pier gates bowt 12ish,sea was coming over a bit.There was a comp on tynemouth pier even though waves were coming over.

                there's always next time , because theres never two days the same and also fishing should pick up! fingers crossed as fish move in for crab cause as the water warms up . i know its way of yet but it keeps you going thinking ahead. next time you shields pier try the blocks ,good luck
