  • Blyth Pier 17-03-15

    Fished the above venue today, got there when the water was just about at the top and fished it down off the end towards the opposite pier. Plenty of knocks but all undersized fish, (3 Codling, 1 Dab). Quiet sesh but nice day to be out. Going to try Wansbeck Estuary tomorrow for Flounder. Baits used, Blacks, Rag and peeler, (fish caught on all).

    2016- Plaice, Dab, Flounder, Mackerel, Coalie, short spined Scorpion fish, Dogfish, Pouting, Whiting
    2017- Whiting, Codling, Coalie, Flounder, Turbot, Plaice, Bass, Pouting, Ballen Wrasse, Corkwing wrasse

          Nah mate only about 3 others during the time I was on
