my last two visits up there have produced three nice codling and a coley only lost two rigs , one two a snag off the beach and the other when my shock leader parted which was probably my own fault for not checking it keep at it mate its part off fishing

Its only rough if you fish off the rocks to the left of the pipe but on the right its fine no need for weak links etc. My personal experience of the place is ive had soom good bags of fish and also blanked, its a funny beach it either fishes or it doesnt at all. This winter i had a bag of 6 fish for 20lb with biggest over 4lb but then the next time i went i got nowt. Keep trying, fish the beach rather than the rocks, either the right hand side of the pipe of just before the crosswaters on the north side.

cheers lads , ive been back had a nice 2.5 bass and a 3 lb cod, same place but im gonna try the other side off the beach, ive only just got into fishing seriously and dont know all these marks fished as a kid but thats kinda it, ill keep trying
