Was that a local spot Nicky, cos ive never seen a local shore fishing over there in 5 years, unlucky choice of mark lol.Me and 3 mates were over 2 weeks before you i had 3 doubles to 16,Graham had one 21and a couple for Chris and Sid,but most were in usual bracket up to about 8lb.And again as usual the fish were moving about all the time. You could bag up one day go there the next an get next to nowt! You think youve got it sussed for next year then it all changes funny place but we always manage plenty of fish Bri.

Great pictures and so close to residential areas too.
The mind boggles - effort I usually go through just to catch tiddlers. Is this what fishing was like from our shoreline 50 years ago!?

                          Nice report

Is this the sort of place you could head too by yourself for some good shore fishing, or do you need to go with a guide and book a trip with a company.

I like doing things myself and have always shied away from being organised by someone but don't know if this is a place where you could book a B&B and do your own thing fishing. Also do you return the fish (assume you do), give them to the Vikings, cook em up yourself ?
