    fished blyth pier tonight about 4,30 untill 9.30 ish caught five 4 cod 1 whiting , kept 2 biggest 3lb 4oz 2nd 2lb 10 oz , good night bit breezy about 70mile phr all caught on top hook 4 on frozen crab 1 on blow lug , cheers jamcod

      Nice one Jimmy, good to get a few out when the conditions are as windy as tonight, there is nowhere to hide on that pier lol.

        same here iva cod some night eh, willy i claimed a wind breaker and parked myself behind it for the night wild but still enjoyed it cheers jamcod .

          Well done on the fish, I had not long left the pier when you got there, probably past you as I was going away.
          Could hardly stand up in that wind.

          Wonder if it was the same sheet I was hiding behind, blue one, tied up with bt drawrope lol.

                  I thought about untying it and taking it away, but did not like the thought of maybee going parasurfing over the bay when the wind got hold, lol.

                  Plus my bag was not big enough for it and had nowhere on my motorbike to tie it to.

                              Hi Jim, al be out this wk/end, plenty fish being landed(aboot time eh!), pm me if your out ,will try to meet up, just for some chocs, oh and sum fish!, fish blyth beach last fri nite,h/t, 2 flatty's, sea was flat as a f..t, i shud of waited till sunday
