Hey all been awhile lol whey went to lynemouth last neet jus to see how it fished since ive heard good reports from there... whey i headed to the left of sea bait and fish off the rocks between 8pm till 10.30pm and was using frozen lug, razor & some crabs i had left ova.. had few cast and wind was ahreet cos of the rocks behind is.. few casts in and no bites just crabs pluckin at me bait.. so i decided to just bait up fozen lug only and lob it out... 5mins later lookin at the tip bouncin around cos of the wind still lol then bang!! was like get in fish time... reeled in and it was comin in easy but thought **** how my gonna lift it ova the rocks hence big waves smackin off the rocks infront of me hmmmmm.. i thought then as the fish came to surface it got really heavy was like **** **** ****.. slight lift up and bang!! the fish hit the side rock and........... off it went!!! i did see it and it looked aboot a 2/3bler shame... cos i aint caught a fish since mid oct lol so i did some cursin n jumpin around hahaha **** happens!!
But ive found a nice mark now and seems to be fish there.. and i found a way down so i can retrieve the fish for the next time... btw i always blank at lynemouth and its been like a yr or so since i was last down.. so for almost gettin a fish at lynemouth.. i went home smilin still
,, goin again next time for sure... 5m tide wud be better for the mark like. btw fish could of been, coalie, codling or maybe a big whiten.. didn look silver to be a bass like.
