Me and my mate Ian fished Seaham pier today. The sea was massive breaking over the entire length of the pier. We had to stay off the pier right at the car park area due to the water coming over-in fact Ian was washed over onto his backside and all of our gear went.
We pulled ourselves together and met up with Blackrat. Ended up fishing as far back as we could.
Ian had a small undersize codling and then one about 2lb. I also got one about 2lb.
For the time and effort i have to think was it worth it---but thats fishing.
    Mick.
Personal best, 12.5lb Tope Scotland. 22/05/2012.
