fished at hebburn tonight next to leslies old yard in front of the houses.Had my 5 year old son bite every chuck loads small stuff got a 40cm codling my boy had about 7 undersize coalie/codling all went back alive great fun watching him pull them in

Thats where you get the bairn imprinted with the fishing bug, catching no matter what size makes them light up with enthusiasm that will last for the rest of his life. I always think its an awful thing for to tek ya bairn out and they catch nowt it disheartens the poor buggers from what you are trying to instil into them. Well done you ya just made another lifelong fisherman.

Nice one glad you caught, that's where I caught my very first fish when I was ten years old, only a little Whiting but I was hooked for life.
