arrived at the big flat rock at 6.45 and first cast brought good knocks for my dad but he was snagged then nowt for a hour so we moved further towards the end which was filling up fast looked like blackpool , blue seems to be the in colour for tip lights anyway I baited up with with some black lug and muscle and out it went didnt have to wait long till the rod banged and a nice 45 cm codling was lifted out end the night at 1245 with a further 3 codling to me and 2 for my dad and a flattie all but one for the pot were returned . Then when we walked off I had to stop and wait fot hte old man to catch up I came across three codling just left in an arch way the long tails had been at the eyes it boiled my p##s what a waste if your not going to keep them put them back and if they were lft because the l/tails had got them throw them in the water not left to rot
