with the weekends bait to get rid of it was a local mark that got the warm shoulder for monday. with some top class lug from darran at fishermans locker, I Took me new weapon down to try out and hopefully pull in a pouting fro the species race or a codling.

the show was slow to start, with light still being in the sky but the sunset was a blinder.

not much to report till the sun went down.

we had the life boat lads run around the end looking for a jetskier.
and eventually the sun decided to say goodnight

    and then it went

no photos of fish today cos me battery ran out taking all the lichfield sunset shots.
well,i had one of me best sessions ever down on the jetty. it was fish a cast when the sun turned in.

I finished with 9 flounder, 2 whitey, 2 coley and a small codling in a 3 hour sesh. no body else seemed to be catching much so i must have been in the right place at the right time with the right bait.
them flounder where hungry though, i was trying to strike earlier and earlier to stop them swallowing the hook but to no avail. the century peformed perfectley but like all rods that suddenly get relegated to number 2, the AFAW caught 99% of the fish kept nudging me to say, "dont you , forget about me" as the simple minds would sing it. proved to
