Cambois 10.10.09

Me and a mate fished cambois yesterday. 2pm-10pm. It was a bite a chuck from the moment we arrived, but it was mainly small stuff that was hard to hook. As it got dark, the fish got a little bigger. I ended up with 8 fish, 6 codling to 1.5lb a coalie and a nice flounder of 1lb 9oz. My mate got 7 fish, 5 codling to 2lb and 2 flounders. All fish were returned alive. It turned out to be a canny sesh and we only left coz we ran out of bait. bait used was lug,mussel,crab and squid. Fish were taking anything with lug in it.


Met JarrowViking of this site and had some good craic, shame u had to leave, coz the fish didnt.
