Hello lads thought bingo---- tonights the night on the heugh-saw the bite then the slack liner then the fight on the way in. Got to be a 5lb er-rod straining.
Not to be--- it was a flattie hooked in the tail.Absolute barsteward.
I caught some whities on my spare rod using £1:09 worth of mackeral bought from Morrisons on the morning-two nice size mackeral fish.
The big rag and razer bought from the Friarage went out on the big rod looking for cod number 1 of my 50 target but alas el blanko with the cod.
Never mind caught over 6 whities and 6 flatties and some coalie so it was an enjoyable day.
On the heugh at 2pm and stayed till 8:30 pm
Probs try seaham next Tues-gonna see if i can buy a few crab.
PS think i will change my cod target to whities
