  • Cambios Mark X 15/9/09 Night

    Hello again lads.. fished cambois with me marra from 9.30pm to 7am... as went on i seen 4 cars leavin and seen 3ppl fishing on cambois rocks.. (new there was a comp on lol).

    Whey baits i used was rag, blast frozen lug, crabs - m8 used squid & razor fish.

    Night was nice north winds breezily cud smell cod coming canny sesh anyway got me decent codling seshin of september already but big ones will come along as i keep on saying...

    My sort of kelp Codling 1lb.1oz - last cod of the night & returned safely .


    My 3 Codling that i kept for my tea and lunch for the next day haha love cod n chips


    Pic of the mile rocks or the catch me if u can but great north winds is in action in the sea


    Right thats it for me now till end of next week bring on the north winds!!

    great report and pics mate looks like you's had a realy good session. I will get back out soon to hopefully catch me a cod or two

                Cheers all for the comments and yes critchaz im having a good spell i just hope they get bigger cos that 2lber was pumpin/fightin etc felt the fish swim down & i had to pump it up lovely but if i was to get a 5lber christ i wud probs be pulled in lmao,

                casper, there's always next time m8... just keep on tryin as i say..

                I can imagine the fight u must of had sean last yr with that 12lber u caught, bet it was pumpin to hell..

                            They look like fresh run codlings to me mate, they aint from the kelp, no colour in them.

                              My m8s is nice some orange in it alot so i guess it is from the kelp or cud of been near kelp in the past... i know my colours!

                              Kelp codling? not mine just what i found somewhere, they say kelp codlings too.

                              M8s kelp or so codling looks alot orange than the others i caught.


                              Maybe they've been feeding near kelp beds for awhile hmmmm...
