Yup, it's a Summer thing mainly. I'm not saying winter anglers are any better just there's less of them. The amount of crap we've all seen in all places at all times is just ****ing not on. I go on a number of flyfishing sites and there's a big Hoo Haa about canoerissimos wanting access to rivers. The usual response is - "Anglers care about their environment and look after it" after some time someone was brave enough to say that most anglers could not give a shoite. Witness the mess on The Mull, Dunstanbrough, Walkway, Rathouse, big beaches even, Scottish lochs in the central belt littered with bucky bottles and crap, lake district etc. Most anglers leave crap, it's not a minority.
