Hi lad's
as i said on my freshwater report just got back from Wales after 9 day's of fishing.
day one fished on the great orme at llandudno only got the two fish but one was another pb my first shore caught wrasse and later i got a small pollock both off the bottom had nowt from the float as there were kids jumping off the cliffs
day two left the tent early and headed for the same mark had 2 more wrasse and about 15 pollock on the float, all the pollock were very small and returned as quick as poss.
day three got a bounus phone call from a very good friend saying the weather was going to be good and that we could get out on the boat, so we steamed out to a place called puffin island picked up a few mackerel which were then fished live under a float on my carp rod. which gave me yet another pb, this bass.
picked up another later on and on the light gear it was just fantastic sport.
day four ended in a blank but found some very nice mark's on anglesey.
day five packed up the tent then headed back for another session to finish off the bait i had left, ended up with another wrasse and about thifty pollock all very small again this being the best pollock off the week only around the pound mark.
.
well i headed back to the borders for a bit more river and still water fishing,
can't wait to do it again best holiday i've had.
cheers casper.
