    fished last night about 9pm loads of sprat jumping and bigger fish following so chucked a plug in and fished the top of water mackeral after mackeral got about 10 then got sick but loads of fun catching them this way first time myself trying this but hey it worked.loads of sea trout jumpimg put my headlamp on they were swimming on the top.anyway ended the the night with two noce codling 2lb and one 31/2 lb on crab enjoy the fishing good fun.

                    First canny codling ive heard for a while. well done.

                    Had one 4lb on hawthorn flat rock but that was when the sea was away about 2 months ago..
                    had a few summer night sessions on seaham south pier and has been poor compared to last summer when i was getting four or five half decent codling to 3 pound.

                        hi deans thats the first night session i've had,there is a few decent fish hanging around suppose its just being in the right place at the right time.been some nice fish up river to crab.
