me and my pal deano went down for about 1 oclock, i ended up with 6 mackeral and 15 sand eels(south east corner), a also was givn a few sand eels from other anglers, dean didnt get nowt at this point except tiny coalies and a few sand eels only saw a couple mackeral taken nothing else, we walked down past the blocks and ended up talkin to a canny fella whos on this site too, he had 5 mackeral and lost 2 on lift whilst a was thy, dean thought he might as well have a chuck, he ended up with a canny size mackeral, canny days fishing, shame the water was dirty, also like to say we saw a fulmer (seagull) with a hook in its beak stuck and had line wrapped round it, musnt of been caught up on it for tht long as it was bleedin heavily on its wing off it, its a shame, ppl should throw old hooks and line in the bin, thats what bins r for, tryed to grab it to see if a could get it off but was away before a cud get to it
