5am went down to almouth the mouth of river aln caught 1 mackeral and 4 flattys and father in law(davie) caught 2 macky and 2 flattys then about 9.30.
when it started to lash down and tide started to go in we were not getting anymore bites we decided to go along to amble.
we got to amble pier and one section at the front of amble pier was shut off due to works just outside of pier so had to walk all way round and then started to fish.
me and davie (father in law) started to fishing got about 6 small coalies each and a eels
