    went on the heugh today at three ,it was blowing a hoolie, the sea was choppy, not in anyway rough, and there was six lads fishing on the end,the water was a bit dirty so did't really expect much in the way of macky,after 3 hours of float fishing, and spinning i caught exactly the same as every one else fishing ,nowt still it got me out of the house and into some real fresh air.

    Hard luck Paul. I must admit during these summer days i have been avoiding the pier and trying the beaches for a Bass.
    I must be mad £10 for worm last couple of trips and i,ve only managed one baby schooly. And he pricked my hand when i was putting him back.
    My next plans on a revisit to the pool is to put in my chesties and try plugging off the beach. I have a spot in mind.
    Never caught one yet on plugs/spinners.

      Go to cambois beach near **** pipe.. my m8s dad goes there and catches big bass constantly.. rag worm and sand eel

      paulthespark never fished up there but sounds canny when its nice n spot on conditions... at least ya were fishin unlike me atm haha
