hi all,decided it was time to christen my new rod.me n me mate started fishing the yachting club at 5pm sat,got off to a bad start when my rucksack fell over smashing my flask(coffee all over).
he was the first in,codling to about 1.1/2lb then down came the rain,bythe time i got waterproofs then got them on i was soaked,others fishing walkway with t shirts/shorts were soaked(anyway back to fishing)he caught another,coley.this time i was in a small whitey that fell off as i was bringing it up.1-2 then i was in again a small codling and again with a big eel.3-2,then it became even when he caught another small codling(thought i might of beat him)he left at 11pm.so i decided to fish the pier.went to the first gate and i had 1 of the best nights fishing 1st cast missed bite so dropped down to 1/0 hooks out again it went into a codling about 1lb mark swallowed the hook
only to relise mate had took t barhad to cut hook line put it back to swim off.changed my hooks to 3/0 so littlens couldnt swallow them to my surprise they did,caught a small coley.so decided to squash the barbs (that worked.)then some more missed bites,caught another codling about the same size.then lost 1 reeling in (put up a decent fight)then i caught a very small dab.(all went back)then it went quite so decided to leave for the bus 5am.as i was packing up there was a few going on the end so give left over bait to.(the end)

ps rig/bait used 2 hook flapper..rag n lug
pss did take pics of a few but give up asthey wernt very gud using my old cam phone
