me and the nieghbour left for st abbs 7 yesterday morning to get a bit of fishing in we called in berwick town centre tackle shop for some ragworm no fresh worm in at all so we had to do with what we had a dozen or so frozen crab and few softback crab also
set up the bigger rod which might aswell not bothered at all not one bite on it nor me mates either ,it was the bass rod that took the fish first drop down the side produces a cracking thump from this wrasse weighing in at 4lb

plenty other interested but not taking the bait i did loss another good wrasse or 2 on the retreive , that was it come near top of the tide all went quiet plenty sprat darting about so i tryed the coddy killer spinner on bang coalies over a pound
but just like anywhere else 10 minute spell and gone ,a while later these guys turned up for some diving and were very close to us
packing up big rod this thing was on the hook
so we wrapped up and headed for home great weather and out the house for the day what more can you ask for
