  • roker pier 13/6/09

    had a walk along the pier for a couple of hours this afternoon, took the spinning rod with me for a few casts, ended up with 2 macky and about a dozen undersized coleys all caught on spinners. a couple of other lads had about 8 macky each on daylights.
    so i achieved my objective, my first macky of the year.

            Good to hear that they're in.
            I will be on the pier Friday and Saturday for a spell to try and catch my first mackerel of the season.

                seen it worse but still a fair few chavs with the obligatory cans, i prefer first light but even then theres a few of them about.

                  Aye so do I mick i normally do a spot of night fishing and then first light
                  get the the spinning gear out before the chav's get on the pier.
