Headed down the pier last night with Carl and Sigsy, We were there about 2 and a half hours had 22 coaly and a sand eel between us.

was at shields again yesterday got another 48 coalies(returned)30 odd casting a spinner about 30-40 yards out river side then when that died off just jigging off coalie corner .but they were been caught anywhere,any distance,from the small wall to about 40 yards down the pier.there was a lad who had a couple of macky but that was all i seen.never known so many coalies been caught,it seems every day a big shoal comes in about an hour before high waterOriginally posted by phill_itofish View PostComment
