    Headed down the pier last night with Carl and Sigsy, We were there about 2 and a half hours had 22 coaly and a sand eel between us.

        its the sport lol me rod tip was almost hitting my reel with 2 coalie on lol (cheap extremely light rod and alittle exaggeration) so much fun lol
        Species: Cod, Bass, Coalie, Flounder, Dab, Rockling, Mackerel, Plaice, Pollock, Ballen Wrasse, L/S Scorpion, Common Blenny, Weaver (unfortunately), Whiting, Common Eel, Trout, Pike... think that's it

          I may go today, casting out or down the side for the coalie? going to take a friend that is in awheel chair so limited on fishing spots on the pier.

              spinning with a slight edge...... shrimp daylights with a spinner on the end as a weight, fish taken on spinner and shrimp

                  Coalie caught on monday afternoon 1lb+ and a few macs caught at first light, coming in slowly

                        was at shields again yesterday got another 48 coalies(returned)30 odd casting a spinner about 30-40 yards out river side then when that died off just jigging off coalie corner .but they were been caught anywhere,any distance,from the small wall to about 40 yards down the pier.there was a lad who had a couple of macky but that was all i seen.never known so many coalies been caught,it seems every day a big shoal comes in about an hour before high water
