Had a couple of hours down the river under the A19 bridge next to the Golden Lion tonight, used up a few rag I had left over from a few days ago. Used a 2 hook flapper and gave it a short lob, baits kept being stripped and had a few knocks but the first hour produced nothing, a little later I connected with a small Flounder but it fell off on to the mud bank as I was lifting it up. I climbed down in to all the sticky mud to try and return it but by the time I got down it had flapped it's way back in to the water, typical.

Had a couple of crabs and think I hooked in to a mighty shopping trolley at one point which resulted in loosing my rig. All in all an enjoyable few hours in the sunset but can't wait to get back over the Mull.

Well done mate at least u caught summit lot of people catchin nowt at mo, also good of u to jump down to return fish prob alot of people wouldnt bother nice one mate

welldone mate i have fished same mark quite a few times next to the big post near the tree and this time of year plenty small coalies and eels and flounder to keep you busy crab baits work best
