    seaham sac fished today, poor turn out as only 21 fished,4 weighed in 5 fish for 6.01 lb.
    1st j. blaney 1 fish for 2.44 lb
    2nd i.heron 2 fish for 1.90 lb
    3rd l.barnes with 1 fish for 1.34 lb
    4th r.clark with 1 fish for 0.33 lb
    h.s.f. j.blaney with a cod for 2.44 lb
    1st pairs j.blaney & d.heron with 1 fish for 2.44 lb
    2nd pairs i.heron & g.heron with 2 fish for 1.90 lb.

      dont know but I fished noses point on sat night with ideal looking conditions. had one cod two and half pounds, one tommy, a large rockling and a thing with a massive head with spines on it. loads of bites after high water close in

                  Seems like we're all scratching for anything at all that we can catch.

                  Remember watching a Rick Stein prog, he was somewhere like Spain or southern France, market was selling what we consider "by-catch" and flogging loads of them, weavers and allsorts. Maybe we need to start looking at the species we'd normally chuck back and see how they prep, cook and serve them up.....

                        2nd and 4th did have eels but also a cod.
