Well me and a couple of lads were ment to be going to st abbsthe day but weather wasnt up to much so decided just to give a few local areas a shot:

1st was s/s pier got there and sea was pretty rough and was raining but give it ago any way,

smallest 1 av seen caught, foul hooked on spinner few more sandeel caught

    mate greeney

tried fishing bait and spinning but nothing else caught.

shortley moved else where as weather started getting worse.

Next we headed to blyth harbour for a bit shelter from car but absolutely nothing not even a crab 2 blokes had been there bout 4 hrs and had nowt!

weather picked up slightley so decided to give wansbeck ago

fished withrag tipped with mackerel and just rag on its own and nearly every time we reeled in this is wat we got

must of pulled in bout 20+ crabs some were a canny size too and didnt want to let go of our bait

then eventually first fish from wansbeck of the day caught by me

then went through loads of rag coz of more crabs, and bout 5 mins before we packed up

mate greeny (he looks happy, think he had wind!)

really enjoyed day not aload of action, but nice to get oot of hoose and catch a few fish.

Just looked out of window and cant belive how sunny it is after raining all morning for us!

Great report and pics. Persistence on a bad day weather-wise, paid off in the end.
