South Shields beach
My son played rugby today against blades. He plays for tynedale u15 had a good game. After the game we had a walk along shields beach with the dog,went right up to war gun at far end of beach. On the way back tide was still going out so we stopped to look through a pile of seaweed. This was just behind the rattler I think that's what it's called ? We picked up 30 razor and 20 odd clams. The bate what's lying there was a feast for cod !!! I think it will fish well tonight if your on the beach head to the middle . Wish I could make it coz that's where I'd be going. Good luck anyone who fishes it.
