  • Hebburn.

Seen on Facebook that Moonfleet had some lovely Welsh slappy blacks so popped around today and got two wraps. Lovely worm for £4 a wrap.
Decided to fish Hebburn again so made the short journey to the river and had quite a good session. Best one was this fella at 2lb 7 ounces. Returned couple more smaller ones. Also had Flounder and Whitey.

    Tight lines Mick.

Well done mate, you had better luck with the blacks than I had last night, I had nothing at all. Should have fished where you were instead of further along.

Between 10 and 14 in the wraps from Moonfleet.

Nice fish, that is the one i was after i fished there from 3 til 6.30 and had 5, 4 sized biggest 40 cm about a pound and a half. All fish where on blow lug, i found they wouldnt touch the blacks.

I had bluey as well but blacks seemed to be the best bait. I was using bluey on one rod and blacks on the other. Ended up just using the one rod. Tried to buy some more blacks today but they were sold out.
