  • walkway 25th -26th april

fished the walkway last night first cast both into fish double shots of codling odd rockling, the codling seemed to like the fresh peeler and rag tipped with prawn applied

as the tide ebbed to nearer lower tide we began to hit into snags well what seemed to me like some old moorings etc as it usually came in for a bit before snapping never lossed so many rigs and etc in one session

we moved further along which was a lot better and still managed a few more double shots think in the end we was bored with these tommies we decided for the first gate shields pier looking for sommit different couple hours on there i only managed a bullhead (sea scorpion)

we called it a night (well morning ) with a empty crab bucket another session enjoyed

tha ugly bu**ers thats for sure i didn't fancy unhooking mine as it looked to have a spine or two about its person (have they?) and ended up cautiously snipping the line close to the hook and coaxing the 'motha' back to the drink(pussy i know)
