Had a trip up St Abbs on good friday With Scot, Carl and Mitchel. NOt much to report sea was a bit lumpy and its still a bit early, after a few hours and some climbing I got the first hit on my float, had a good fight with a nice 3-4lb polock that managed to untie my hook snood at our feet, am claiming it as a catch anyway though lol, Scotty got a nice 2-3lber but that was it fir the day, no sign of any wrass but there was a bit to much sea on really, anyhoo was a canny trip will get the picture of scottys fish one later.
Happy to help, Keen to learn!

Well done lads, as you know it's still a little early yet but things should pick up very soon. I had my first Wrasse up there around this time last year.

I'm sure the Pollack are there all year round, they are caught at Arbroath further North in the Winter but to be honest haven't had a crack at them at Abbs yet in the depths of Winter.
