i have fished the tyne this weekend and it was full of small whiting, coal fish, codling . on sat i fished a mark at jarrow/hebburn with tonynufc and it was basically a fish a cast all day with double shots of whiting and codling, tony picking up a double of whiting / coaly , on sun i took the bairn down to the ouseburn outlet part of the tyne and we were into fish within 10 min's a text from tony said he had his bairn down the fish quay and they were into lot's of fish too . a good weekend for everyone fishing the river it seem's .anyone else down there ? .. i took load's of pic's but will attach the one that summed up the weekend best .the lad's looking for the next bite as the sun set

Know the mark well last time I fished there it was blowing a gale and wet.
pleased you had a better day for it.

Been down derwenthaugh mariner today and caught 2 decent flatties.
There were a lot caught but most under sized .
One lad even caught a sea trout on rag tipped with macky.

Kela, do you go all the way down from the Audi garage and is there a footpath to fish from or is it grass verge at Scotswood business Park as Ive never fished it. Wot is the mark near to or is it anywhere on the Park.
