Just in lads - took me old fella out for dinner and wieghed up the best spots.
Lovely rollers coming in on the prom so decided to fish the beach. Two dabs first two casts-then decided to have a go on the heugh. Big mistake wind was awful. One cast and back round the prom for a comfortable afternoons fishing. Caught another 3 dabs. All but one returned.
Thought a Bass might have showed up but water may have been to dirty according to a couple of friendly surfers who rode some of the waves.
Enjoyed my day-did not blank and fished the right rigs for the conditions.
Think any coddies are few and far between now.
